Scalr Taps Larissa Crandall to Grow Hybrid Cloud Management Pioneer’s Channel Business
San Francisco, CA – June 27, 2018 – Scalr, a global pioneer in enterprise hybrid cloud management, today announced that channel luminary Larissa Crandall has joined the company as Global Senior Director of Channel Sales. Crandall, who was honored as a “Power 100: The Most Powerful Women Of The Channel” and “Woman in the Channel” by CRN in 2018 and 2017, is chartered with building out Scalr’s partner programs across the world.
Scalr, which was recently named a leader in cloud management by both Forrester and SIIA CODiE Awards, has been selling through channel partners for several years, according to Brett Johnson, VP Sales, Scalr. “The channel is critical to Scalr’s success. But until now, we haven’t had a formal, proactive effort to support and expand our network of resellers, system integrators, and managed service providers,” Johnson said. “Larissa is a true channel expert and advocate. Her extraordinary successes at building channel programs and her nuanced understanding of diverse partners’ needs and opportunities, will be invaluable in growing our business.”

Crandall brings 20 years of channel and sales expertise to Scalr. Her commitment to working closely with partners to create the type of programs, training, and incentives they needed to spur business has driven phenomenal results. She came to Scalr from Kaspersky Labs where, as Senior Director of Channel Sales, North America, she rebuilt the channel team and grew year-over-year (YoY) partner revenue by double digits. Before that, as Director of Channel Sales and Distribution, North America for Unitrends, Crandall launched the company’s 100% channel initiative and was responsible for 50% YoY net new business revenue. Earlier, when Crandall was VP of Sales for Itrica she oversaw a team that drove 250% YoY growth. Crandall also spent 14 years in various sales leadership roles at Connection, which provided the foundation for her channel career.
