Clone roles

Today, we are releasing a simple, yet powerful new ability: that to clone roles.

From the role’s Actions button, click Clone.

The most common use case for cloning roles is when you use chef and/or the Scalr scripting engine for bootstrapping and configuring nodes at startup time. This new ability allows you to copy then tweak a role, so you can reuse previous work, avoid starting from scratch, and make any changes you wish. Couple with Scalr variables and parameters, this makes for a formidable productivity tool.

After clicking on Clone, give the copied Role a new name.

This is another feature added by customer request, so keep those coming!
